Lecture Notes:   Most class notes will be written on the board or via an overhead projector during lectures.  Students are strongly advised to use the chapter outlines from the student study guide (available via course reserves) to provide structure for note-taking.  Developing your own notes as you read the assigned chapters is most valuable learning tool.  To their detriment, too many students discount the worth of this activity.  My notes on the thermodynamics topics and on gas behavior are available via the following links:  thermo notes  |  gas behavior notes.  I will use these notes in lectures.
