CHM245—Concepts in Chemistry 1
An accelerated treatment of fundamental concepts and applications of chemistry for elementary education majors. Those concrete observable topics most appropriate for presentation to elementary students will be emphasized. Demonstrations and activities are used extensively. For elementary education majors. Integrated lecture/lab.
CHM246—Concepts in Chemistry 1
Fundamental concepts of chemistry for middle childhood science education majors emphasizing topics most appropriate for presentation to middle school students. Course includes a detailed study of heat energy.
